In early 2017, Downtown Plano announced a mural project that saw three different murals added to this historic main street. I photographed the first one back in August, and never took a decent picture of the second one.
Well back in December, mural number three went up. A black and white is this week’s photo. My hands went numb through my gloves, because the feels like temperature was in the single digits, and Dallas is ill equipped for that kind of cold. This cold snap has not provided any weather events that create dramatic photographs – no cool clouds, no ice, no snow – just cold.
The mural itself is on the southeast corner of 15th Street and Ave K. It features physical representation of sound waves with the letters P L A N O.
