The 50th anniversary of the moon landings – Apollo 11 – was a few weeks ago. The Smithsonian hosted a special event where the Washington Monument was used as a projection screen for the Saturn V launch and moon landing. It was spectacular. The sound during the rocket launch caused the ground I was sitting on to rumble.
