The 24mm has been my favorite lens lately. The vignetting is one of the things I hate about it – but also love so much. Notice how this week’s image is darker in the corners? That’s vignetting. Anyway, this weekly blog thing is making me go shoot consistently on Tuesdays, and I’m really liking that. Continue reading “Ep 5: Weekly Wednesday Photo Sharing”

Ep. 4: Weekly Wednesday Photo Sharing
These last two weeks have been a “oh crap it’s Tuesday, I need to take a picture,” with surprisingly good results. Last week’s was a favorite of the year, and this week’s is equally interesting. Lately, the sunsets have had a nice glow, with beautiful gradients from red, to orange, to purple in the west. Continue reading “Ep. 4: Weekly Wednesday Photo Sharing”
Ep. 3: Weekly Wednesday Photo Sharing
Hey, this week’s shot isn’t from a time lapse sequence! How neat is that? I actually did still photography, and it made it onto Instagram. Anyways, I was looking for dinner tonight, and on my way out, I decided the light was too nice to not take pictures. Ep. 1: Weekly Wednesday Photo Sharing
This is the first post in my new weekly photo sharing series. In this series, I’ll pick a photo, old or new, and just talk about it. It may be a “how did I get the shot” post, or just something I liked. ISO 100 | f/8 | 1/10 | 35mm Lately I’ve been doingContinue reading “Ep. 1: Weekly Wednesday Photo Sharing”

Time Lapse Photography (With People!)
2017’s photographic fascination have been time lapse photography. If I want to shoot every night, I need to do it close to my apartment (DFW traffic is awful).
Caprock Canyons State Park
I took an overnight trip to Caprock Canyons State Park in July, solely for the purpose of photographing the stars. A few of my friends mentioned taking a road trip to New Mexico, and I tagged along for the first leg.
